Made for big kids, the Nike Zoom Kobe 5 GS 'Year of the Mamba - Eggplant' celebrates Lunar New Year, featuring a seamless synthetic upper in an iridescent purple finish. In keeping with the year of the snake theme, a prominent serpent graphic in metallic gold coils around the lateral-side Swoosh. Integrated Flywire cables provide a locked-in fit, while an external heel counter offers rearfoot stability. The sneaker sits atop a lightweight Cushlon foam midsole with forefoot Zoom Air cushioning. Underfoot, a translucent rubber outsole reveals a glass/carbon fiber shank plate for torsional rigidity.
