LA clothing label Bristol Studio teamed up with renowned sneaker customizer The Shoe Surgeon for a rendition of the BYW silhouette that originally dropped during the 2018 NBA All-Star Weekend. The design itself is a modern update to adidas’ retro basketball shoes, with premium leather overlays and textured canvas underlays that are fused together with an emphasized stitch pattern and frayed edges. Designed as an art project inspired by three-dimensional objects, the sneakers aren’t necessarily meant to be worn.
