Measure foot length
- Tape a sheet of paper to a hard, flat floor. Stand with one foot on it and keep your weight evenly balanced.
- Mark the tip of your big toe and the farthest point of your heel, then measure between the marks with a ruler.
- Repeat for the other foot. Compare the longer measurement with the shoe maker's own foot-length guide.
