About this product
A Bathing Ape debuted the label's coveted Bapesta sneaker in 2002, nine years after the label began in Tokyo's Harajuku district in 1993. The shoe pulls inspiration from American hoops footwear, adding aggressive color blocking and a shooting star motif. The A Bathing Ape Bapesta FS-001 Low 'Black Red' dresses the shoe in a premium upper, replete with airflow-enhancing perforations at the toe box. A sturdy cupsole design supports the sneaker, with red pivot point tread to complete the look.
