Bape Sta

The Bape Sta is the sneaker of A Bathing Ape, a brand founded on 1 April 1993 in a back alley of Harajuku, Tokyo, as the house label of the Nowhere store. BAPE dates the shoe to 2000 and describes the star-shaped STA logo along the sides and the wide range of colours as its defining features. In 2021 the brand relaunched it, on 6 February, in black, white and beige, followed by colourways it names Light Grey/Black, Light Sand/Red Orange, Gym Red, Wheat, Forest Green, Dark Purple and Electric Yellow.
