The A Bathing Ape Bapesta silhouette launched in 2002, nine years after the brand's 1993 inception in Tokyo, Japan. Closely resembling popular hoops shoes from the West, the Bapesta is known to stand out with bold color blocking and shooting star branding. The Bapesta FS-001 Low 'White Gray' rendition tones the look down with a stark white upper and reptile-textured overlays at the sidewall and collar. An 'Ape' branded cupsole supports the shoe from below.
