Vans Sk8-Hi

The Sk8-Hi was launched in 1978 as Style 38, the first Vans high-top and the second model after the Old Skool to carry the Sidestripe. Vans says the higher, padded collar was added for ankle protection as skateboarding turned more vertical in the late 1970s. It is made in canvas and pig suede, in standard and tapered shapes, and in a Skate Sk8-Hi version with Duracap reinforcement and Popcush cushioning.

Sizing: Vans offers the Sk8-Hi Wide for a roomier fit and does not give a separate fit note for the standard model. This hub lists every Sk8-Hi colourway carried by the shops we track, including printed and collaboration versions, with sizes in stock and the date each listing was checked.
