About this product
Debuting in 1977 as the Style 36, the Old Skool was the first Vans silhouette to showcase the jazz stripe, originally conceived by founder Paul Van Doren as a random doodle. On this pair, the signature side-stripe is rendered in light blue, contrasted against the Ginger orange finish of the canvas side-panel. The same tone is used on the shoe’s suede vamp and heel cap.
