Story
From reselling sneakers at home to checking shop prices.
From Ibiza. Each day we check shop prices and the sizes in stock, and put them on one page per product. We sell nothing ourselves.

01 · The story
From a stock room to a daily check.
HYPEIBIZA started in 2019 at home in Ibiza: we bought sneakers and sold them on. There was never a shop with a door on the street.
In 2024 we rented an office with a stock room on the island. The photo on this page is from that stock room.
Most of the work was checking: which shop has this pair, in which size, at which price. We did it by hand, every day.
In September 2026 we closed the office and the stock room, and kept the checking. Each day the site reads every shop we follow, records the price and the sizes it showed, and puts them on one page per product.
We sell nothing ourselves. Some links pay us a commission when you buy; the price you pay is the shop's price. The order of the shops is by price, never by commission.

The journal and who writes it
The journal is written by Redacción HYPEIBIZA, the editorial desk of Reactive Systems SL in Ibiza. It covers the models we compare: what a style code tells you, which colourways exist, how a model sizes and what is released each month.
Every fact in an article comes from our own catalogue or from public information published by the brand. Drafts are prepared with writing software and checked against that information before they are published. A claim we cannot back is left out, and a release the brand has not confirmed is labelled as reported.

02 · How we check
How we check.
01
We check every shop we follow, every day.
We read the price and the sizes each shop shows, and put them on one page per product.
02
Shops are ordered by price, not by commission.
The cheapest offer in stock is first. A shop that pays us gets no better place than one that does not, and no shop can pay for a position.
03
You go to the shop through /go.
Every shop link on our pages passes through one short redirect, then opens the shop. The price you pay is the shop's price.
04
We do not see what you buy.
We count the click to the shop: the product, the shop, the kind of page. No name, no IP address, no cookie. What you buy stays between you and the shop.
03 · Our look
Our look.
The mark. Drawn letters, two lines, one red strike through HYPE.
The red strike. Red marks three things only: the old price, the best offer, and the word Low.
Rules, not boxes. A 1 px ink rule starts a section; a light rule splits rows.
Archivo Expanded, 700, width 125. Display and titles.

The Salines grid. Square pans in a strict grid, 1 px rules, no boxes. One pan turns red every 1.6 seconds.
It comes from the salt pans of Ses Salines seen from above: ponds in a strict grid, like a table of offers. On our pages, one pan turns red when a price moves.

- White ground. No cream, no tint behind the page.
- One family.Archivo only. No serif, no monospace.
- Square.Radius 0. No shadow. No arrows.
- Red for three things. The strike, the best offer, Low.
04 · The island
Salt, white walls, stone.

Ses Salines
The salt pans in the south of the island. Seen from above, the ponds form a strict grid: our Salines grid comes from it. The water turns pink as the brine gets saltier. The harvested salt is piled in white heaps on the land along the salt road, then taken to the pier at sa Canal.

Casa payesa
The island farmhouse: white lime-washed cubes added one at a time, flat roofs, small windows, a porch (porxo) on beams of sabina wood. In the render, espardenyes and a sneaker wait on the step.
Dry-stone walls
Walls of stacked stone with no mortar, around the fields and the terraces.
Dalt Vila
The walled old town of Ibiza, with Renaissance walls from the 16th century. On the UNESCO World Heritage list since 1999.
Espardenyes
The island's rope-soled sandals, with soles of plaited esparto grass.
Adlib
The Ibiza fashion of loose white clothes in linen and cotton, under the Adlib name since 1971.
05 · The Ibiza scene
The Ibiza scene, and how we made it.
Es Vedrà at golden hour, a fisherman in a llaüt, and the things we compare in the water. The scene plays live in your browser on the home page, in the paste-a-link lookup.
The rock

Silhouette from the terrain model, as seen from Cala d'Hort.

The clay rock in the scene.
Modelled from the Spanish IGN PNOA-LiDAR 5 m terrain model, seen as from Cala d'Hort. Summit 382 m.
The boat

A traditional Ibizan llaüt, built from hull cross-sections. White hull, blue band, wooden rails.
The objects

A sneaker, a cap, a hoodie, a ball and a toy brick: footwear, clothing and small things, the products we compare.
Clay style. Golden-hour light, baked into the textures. It runs in the browser with three.js.
