Nike Air Foamposite Pro “Dr. Doom”: 20 years since its debut
· By Redacción HYPEIBIZA
Nike’s black-and-white Air Foamposite Pro “Dr. Doom” is expected to return in 2026. The reported date is 27 November, while the product record lists 1 December; neither date is settled.

The 2026 return would be the third retail appearance of the colourway, arriving two decades after its debut. It also follows the first comeback in 2016, ten years after the original release.
The original pair belonged to Nike’s unlicensed Fantastic 4-themed footwear, and its black-and-white look prompted the “Dr. Doom” nickname. The shoe has neither the green associated with the character nor any Doom mark.
Black shell, white accents
The white rubber outsole and collar lining balance the black moulded Foamposite shell; white also marks the branding and oversized side Swoosh. Black extends across the eyestays, tongue, laces and carbon-fibre shank.
A closer match to the original Foamposite mould is expected, alongside a reported increase in the side Swoosh’s size. The shape and branding would therefore be two points to distinguish on this edition.
The exact product is listed as the Black/White Air Foamposite Pro, style HF0794-003.
