Nike names this Giannis Freak 8 “Trick Question,” style code IO7945-300, while shops track it as the Halloween edition. Retail listings report 23 October 2026 as the arrival date. Nike still displays the shoe as coming soon, so that October day remains an unconfirmed store entry rather than a confirmed brand launch date.
The Trick Question theme and design cues
The seasonal edition pairs two shades of deep green, Gorge Green and Lucky Green, across the upper. Bold Hyper Grape purple contrasts with the green panels to create a classic Halloween aesthetic. Subtle Metallic Gold highlights finish the branding accents, tied directly to the low-cut silhouette and its standard lace setup.
Giannis Antetokounmpo’s seasonal basketball drops often arrive right before late October games begin. The Greek star’s signature series regularly turns to bold holiday colour schemes that stand out immediately under arena lighting. Here, the dark green upper and vivid violet accents give the shoe its eerie seasonal look without altering the cut of the collar.
Release timing and store listings
Marketplaces entered 23 October 2026 into their release systems ahead of any global store rollout. Nike has published the product page with official images but still keeps purchases on hold under a notification prompt. Anyone looking for the pair can track updates against style code IO7945-300 as shops receive stock.
Because brand channels have not locked in a specific launch morning, store shelves could see pairs drop either on the marketplace date or in the days directly following. Retailers handling adult basketball stock should carry the pair when stock arrives.
