The women’s Yukon Brown pair reportedly reworks the Air Rift with a laced forefoot and a prominent rocker midsole.

The Melitta Baumeister Nike Rift Rocker reportedly replaces the Air Rift’s open forefoot with a closed, laced design, keeping its split toe. A first release through Melitta Baumeister is expected on 5 November 2026.
A closed forefoot and a rocker midsole
The reported redesign adds a tongue and laces where the Air Rift has an open forefoot. Its split-toe shape remains, giving the new model a clear link to the shoe it reworks.
Reports also describe a large rocker midsole. Its pronounced curved profile beneath the foot departs from the more familiar outline of the Air Rift.
Reported details include stitched, padded Swooshes at the forefoot and much larger, recessed versions on the outside of the midsole. Inward curves at the back and inner side add to the sole’s sculpted shape.
An eye graphic reportedly links two less obvious details: the heel decoration and a footprint illustration beneath the insole. Nike introduced the Air Rift in 1996.
Two expected November launches
After the expected 5 November launch on Melitta Baumeister’s website, Nike SNKRS and selected retailers are expected to follow on 12 November. The product’s listed date is also 5 November; treat this schedule as reported timing rather than a guaranteed purchase date.
