Light Bone SKIMS Waffle Racer: Varsity Red sets it apart
· By Redacción HYPEIBIZA
Light Bone, College Grey and Phantom give this women’s Waffle Racer a pale, neutral look, set apart from the Baroque Brown and Thunder Blue pairs listed for the same week.
The code IW3882-002 identifies the Light Bone/College Grey/Phantom/Varsity Red colourway. Its pale base and red accent make it the light, high-contrast option beside the darker Baroque Brown and cooler Thunder Blue versions. All three are listed for the same week, with 10 November 2026 reported as the date.
A pale palette with a red accent
Varsity Red is the strongest point of contrast against the restrained Light Bone, College Grey and Phantom palette. It gives this colourway a more defined pop than either sibling option, while keeping the overall look pale rather than brown or blue. The contrast comes from the colours, not a reported change to the Waffle Racer’s shape.
The outsole’s rubber waffle pattern gives the shoe its retro-running cue, while a foam midsole sits above it. Nylon makes up the upper, with suede and leather overlays adding different surfaces across the shoe. Together, those familiar running-inspired elements sit beneath a colour palette that is specific to this version.
This pair is listed alongside the SKIMS Baroque Brown and Thunder Blue colourways. Other, non-SKIMS Waffle Racer colourways have catalogue dates between late 2025 and mid-2026. The three women’s options scheduled for this week extend that run with distinct palettes: light neutral, brown and blue.
Shop listing and availability
Nike’s women’s page shows the pair as coming soon and offers a notification option. It also says the shoe is excluded from promotions and discounts on the site. A second retailer lists the same style in women’s sizing with a notify-me status, so availability may differ by shop.
The 10 November date is a reported shop-calendar listing, rather than a confirmed Nike launch date. The same date appears for Baroque Brown and Thunder Blue, pointing to a shared release window rather than a date exclusive to this colourway. Check the current listing for the latest availability and terms.
