The Nike Zoom Skylon 11 returns with Air Zoom cushioning and reflective details in a dark Anthracite Metallic Silver colourway. Its expected release date is 15 October 2026, based on marketplace timing rather than a confirmed Nike launch date.
Upper build and sole cushioning
The shoe combines a breathable mesh base with synthetic-leather overlays across the upper. Its full colour combination is Anthracite, Metallic Silver, Reflective Silver and Black, with reflective detailing confirmed by Nike.
Underfoot, a thick foam midsole combines Air Zoom cushioning with deep grooves that help the sole flex. Nike describes the Air Zoom cushioning as responsive when pushing off the ground, while the outsole is rubber.
The flex grooves take their inspiration from Nike Free, a running line built around allowing the foot to move naturally. Here, that influence concerns the sole's flexibility, alongside the Air Zoom cushioning in the midsole.
A return from the late 2000s
Nike places the original Skylon 11's debut in the late 2000s, when it arrived as a technical running shoe. The return brings back that model line, with mesh, cushioning and sole flexibility central to its design.
Air Zoom is Nike's cushioning system that uses pressurised air with stretched fibres inside the unit. Nike Free addresses movement through sole design instead, so the two names refer to different parts of this shoe's running technology.
Release timing and product identity
As of 11 October 2026, Nike marks the shoe as coming soon and offers a notification option. The marketplace date is a planned listing date; it doesn't establish when Nike will begin selling the pair.
Style code IZ6425-001 identifies this exact Anthracite Metallic Silver pair.
