BAPE 1st Camo

1st Camo is the original camouflage of A Bathing Ape, introduced in 1996. BAPE says it started from a hunting camouflage and worked the brand's Ape Head logo into the pattern. The first two colourways were Sand Yellow, known as Yellow Camo, and Olive Drab, known as Green Camo; the green version faded towards yellow with age, and in 2025 BAPE released a Mixed 1st Camo for its Legacy line based on that faded look. The pattern was reissued in the Fall/Winter 2017 season.

1st Camo is used on tees, shark hoodies, jackets and the Bape Sta. The tone-on-tone Color Camo of 2004 and the ABC Camo are separate patterns with their own pages. This hub lists every 1st Camo product from the shops we track, with sizes in stock and the checked date.
