Cognac is a warm brown with an amber cast, deeper than tan and softer than a flat chocolate, and it is often seen near cream, black or faded denim. Brown of this warmth can look slightly red in sun and more golden indoors. Birkenstock keeps the Boston Bold Shearling to that one cognac tone.
