About this product
Taupe is a dusty blend of grey and brown, low in brightness and set between those two tones. Birkenstock’s Pantolette ‘Madrid’ is made in that colourway. The upper is synthetic and the lining is synthetic as well, both manufactured rather than hide, while the sole is leather. The Madrid silhouette puts that combination on one sandal: made fibres for the upper and the lining, and animal skin for the sole.
