100% cotton is the cloth of the Brader Blazer Cooper Twill from Carhartt WIP, in black. Cotton is a plant fibre with a matte face and a dry hand. It creases where it is folded and holds dye, so black looks dense and even on it rather than shiny. Black is a deep neutral that stands apart from lighter clothes around it.
