2025 brought the Jordan 5 Retro Awake NY Black, a men's release also known as Boro - Racer Blue. Built on the Air Jordan 5 silhouette originally designed by Tinker Hatfield, this pair combines a black colourway with a leather upper. Leather generally brings a substantial feel and a surface that can show natural creasing through use. The dark palette provides a neutral starting point for clothing: grey trousers keep the combination restrained, blue denim adds a different tone, and brighter garments create a stronger contrast. A black outfit can instead keep the overall colour relationship close.
