About this product
Suede forms the upper of the men's Birkenstock London. Suede generally has a napped face that looks matte, and the nap can shift a little in tone as light changes. Black is the colourway and 2019 is the year, with a plastic sole and a leather lining. A leather lining is usually smoother against the hand than napped suede, while a plastic sole is a formed base rather than hide. Napped suede tends to look quieter and less shiny than smooth leather. Birkenstock's London for men, from 2019, carries the suede upper, the Black colourway, the plastic sole and the leather lining.
