About this product
Leather and textile form the upper of the New Balance 408. Leather tends to show a smooth, fairly firm face that creases and can lighten at those folds with use, while textile stays thinner and more pliable next to it. Made for kids, the 408 is white and grey and closes with laces. The sole is natural rubber, usually denser and less shiny than a foam compound, and the lining is textile. White and grey keeps the look restrained, grey taking the edge off a full white. The combination reads clean. A non-slip feature is included, and one part of the shoe is removable.
