New Balance 550 Aime Leon Dore Brown

Teddy Santis of Aimé Leon Dore gave the New Balance 550 silhouette a new lease of life in 2020, and the brands reunited again in 2022 to create this stylish brown colourway. The modern update features the synonymous white leather upper with perforated midfoot overlays, but this time includes a chocolate brown hue for a more earthy aesthetic. The brown accents complement the sneaker’s retro appeal, appearing on the quarters’ cracked leather N logo, co-branded tongue tag, collar, the mudguard’s 550 branding, and NB logo at the heel. The off-white rubber midsole creates an aged aesthetic, making the shoes look like you bought them in 1989, and sit atop a brown rubber outsole.
