About this product
Black and black sit across the New Balance 740, so the shoe stays one continuous dark tone instead of splitting into contrast. Black hides scuffs more readily than a pale surface. The upper mixes textile and synthetics: textile feels soft and bends, while synthetics tend to look smoother and hold a cleaner edge. Made for unisex wear, it closes with laces and is lined in textile. Underfoot, a rubber outsole meets an ABZORB midsole. Rubber is dense and stands up to scuffing on hard ground. A padded tongue and cuff, reflective accents, a molded TPU logo and a textured tread round out the construction.
