About this product
The 740 in Moonbeam / Sea Salt is the New Balance 740 Safari Moonbeam Gum, under the Moonbeam Sea Salt name. Mesh forms the upper: a fine, open cloth that feels light, lets air through and bends easily, and that usually dries faster than a closed leather shell. Mesh of this sort shows its weave up close and feels cooler than a closed hide. Made for men, it fastens with laces. The sole is rubber, a dense material that holds its edge and shows scuffs less than a soft foam. Textile lines the interior. An abzorb midsole is included, along with reflective accents that flash back when a beam hits them. Moonbeam is a warm off-white, Sea Salt a quiet grey with a slight green cast, and the two stay calm next to navy, black or stone.
