About this product
New Balance's 740 is grey, with a synthetic upper. Synthetic material tends to look smooth and even, hold a clean outline, and shrug off light scuffs without soaking up water the way many cloths do. It also wipes clean more readily than unfinished hide. Grey is a quiet neutral beside black, navy, or faded denim.
