About this product
Mesh, textile and leather give the upper a mix of open weave, fabric texture and smoother surfaces. The New Balance 991v2 Made in UK 'Rose Taupe' combines those materials in a men's shoe from 2026, with a textile lining and rubber sole. Its ABZORB pods are another distinct element of the construction. The muted pink-and-taupe colour direction lends itself to grey, cream and brown clothing, offering an alternative to an entirely neutral outfit without demanding a sharp contrast. Leather and woven materials also provide different visual textures, so the combination has more variation than a single-material upper.
