About this product
Textile and plastic make the upper of this shoe: the fabric has a soft woven hand, while the plastic looks smoother and feels a little firmer next to it. New Balance builds the 740 in castlerock, a muted grey that sits with denim, black and other plain colours. Rubber makes the sole, a dense material that can show light scuffing with everyday wear, and textile forms the lining as a simple woven layer inside.
