The Nike Air Max 95 Black Anthracite Pure Platinum is a version of the iconic performance running shoe that has become a lifestyle staple. This iteration of the Nike Air Max 95 has an upper made of a mix of materials, as it has a layered design. The top of the upper is breathable black textile, while a shiny black leather strip runs from the top of the heel down to the toe on both sides in a wave underneath the textile layer. There is a black suede strip underneath that layer, another leather layer underneath, and a suede layer on the bottom. The shoe also features a black suede toe cap. The tongue features Air Max branding, while the heel contains a Nike Air logo. A white Nike swoosh is found under the lateral ankle, and the white rubber sole houses visible Air Max units under the heel and forefoot. What we like best about this running shoe is the mix of materials on the upper. Even though it’s all black, the mix of materials adds visual interest.
