The year 2025 brought the Nike Kobe 6 Protro Sail All-Star, a men's release built around the Zoom Kobe 6 silhouette. Eric Avar designed the original, while this edition carries the All-Star - Sail identity and Sail All-Star colourway. Its upper uses synthetic material rather than leather or canvas. Synthetic is a broad material category, encompassing different textures and finishes, so it does not by itself imply one particular surface feel. The Protro name and All-Star reference form part of this edition's identity, with the original designer providing the link to the silhouette behind the product.
