About this product
A Matryx upper makes material construction a defining element of the Salomon X Ultra 5 Mid GORE-TEX 'Excalibur' for women. This 2025 release combines Excalibur, Iron and Gull in a restrained palette that works with black, grey or earth-toned clothing. Its construction includes GORE-TEX and an Advanced Chassis, alongside an EnergyCell EVA midsole. EVA is a foam material commonly used in footwear midsoles. SensiFit and Active Support also feature in the design, while an All Terrain Contagrip sole completes the shoe. Together, these components give the X Ultra 5 a detailed construction beyond its understated colour combination.
