About this product
Synthetic suede makes the upper of the Vans Brooklyn Cheker. Synthetic suede has a short napped face, a matte look and a softer hand than smooth leather, and the nap can flatten or mark with wear. Black is the colourway, a deep neutral that sits with almost any other colour. It is made for kids and closes with velcro, a hook-and-loop fastening that opens and closes without laces. The sole is rubber, dense enough to scuff outdoors, and the lining is textile, a woven cloth layer.
