About this product
Paul Van Doren designed the original Slip-On silhouette behind the Vans Classic Slip-On Checkerboard Red White. This men's edition came out in 2025, pairing a red and white colourway with the Checkerboard - Red Orange White pattern. Its slip-on closure requires no laces to fasten, while the canvas upper brings a matte, woven texture. Red and white create a clear contrast that can stand out against navy, grey or black clothing. With a chequered pattern already in the mix, plain trousers and a solid-colour top offer a way to keep other graphics to a minimum. The textile surface adds a different visual element from the checks, with the visible weave characteristic of canvas.
