About this product
Suede gives the upper of the Vans Old Skool 36 LX Gunmetal Black a soft-looking nap rather than a smooth leather finish. The material's fibres can catch the light differently as their direction changes, adding visual depth to the Gunmetal colourway. Released in 2024 for men, this pair follows the original Old Skool silhouette designed by Paul Van Doren. The grey-toned palette works with black trousers, blue denim and lighter neutrals, while suede offers a textural contrast to flatter woven fabrics elsewhere in an outfit.
