About this product
Oatmeal Beige and black share the palette of the Vans Sk8-Hi Waterproof Oatmeal Beige Black, setting a light neutral against a much darker tone. This men's shoe arrived in 2022 and traces its Sk8 silhouette back to original designer Paul Van Doren. The upper uses recycled leather, with a textile lining and a rubber sole completing the material combination. Leather generally has a different surface character from woven fabric, while textile introduces a fabric texture inside the shoe. Waterproof construction is a further feature of this edition. The beige-and-black pairing allows for both light and dark clothing: cream and stone echo its softer side, while charcoal or black emphasise the contrast. Blue denim also works with these neutral shades without introducing a competing bright colour.
