The Nike Book 2 Halloween takes inspiration from Oogie Boogie, with an expected release on 30 October 2026. That date is reported and appears in marketplace listings; it remains an expected date rather than a confirmed launch.
Oogie Boogie design details
Oogie Boogie is the sack-bodied villain from The Nightmare Before Christmas, and that appearance guides the shoe's reported design. Most of the upper is off-white, with a rough, sack-like texture that echoes the character's surface rather than a printed portrait.
Black laces sit over that pale upper, while oversized black Swooshes give the sides a strong contrast. Green embroidery adds a smaller colour accent at the tongue, keeping the brighter part of the palette around the top of the shoe.
Visible stitching runs around the toe and heel, carrying the character's sewn-together appearance from the front to the back. The heel pull tabs carry vertical “Chapter Two” lettering, a separate detail from the stitched marks around the heel.
This pair is the Book 2 Halloween colourway, style code IO7942-001, not a new model. The upper is off-white with a sack-like texture, and an oversized black Swoosh sits on each side. Green embroidery marks the tongue, the heel tabs carry vertical “Chapter Two” lettering, and you can match the pair by that code before you buy.
Themed accessories and glow elements
Each pair is expected to come with a Devin Booker mask and an orange Nike headband. The mask is expected to have stitched facial details, taking the same sewn-face idea into an accessory included with the shoes.
Glow-in-the-dark accents are expected. It is not established that the whole upper glows.
