The Cool Grey/White-Black Nike Kobe A.D. Protro “Ruthless Precision,” style code IO8233-001, pairs a dark-grey medial midsole with a white lateral side and an iridescent heel cup. Its release is reported for November 22, 2026, while a marketplace listing gives November 13; neither date is confirmed.
The colourway first appeared on the A.D. Protro in 2016, and its reported return falls around ten years later. The contrasting midsole makes the pair distinctive, with the two sides divided by colour rather than a single grey finish.
Nike’s product details place a hockey-puck-shaped ZoomX foam unit under the forefoot, with React in the midsole and Air Zoom in the heel. A credit-card-sized plate sits at the midfoot to help stabilise the shoe.
The forefoot has a wider fit, and the upper is lightweight embroidered textile. Nike also identifies a softer, more flexible TPU heel counter, a detail that sits alongside the iridescent finish on the heel cup.
A low-profile build uses Dynamic Flywire cables for support. The updated traction combines a herringbone pattern at the forefoot with grip that wraps around the sides, linking the underfoot design to the pair’s basketball use.
The two dates point to different calendar days: November 13 is the date on the marketplace listing, and November 22 is reported as the expected release. The latter is explicitly unconfirmed, so the pair’s timing remains uncertain.
