Nike Air Max 90

The Air Max 90 was released in 1990, designed by Tinker Hatfield, who took the 1987 Air Max and the 1989 Air Max Light as his starting points. It was sold as the Air Max III until 2000, when Nike reissued it under the year of its launch. The red accents of the original colourway later became known as Infrared, the name still used for that colourway today.

Later versions named by Nike include the HUF collaboration of 2007, a laceless sacai edition in 2015 and Virgil Abloh's Off-White version in 2017.
