About this product
Nubuck forms the upper on Salomon's men's Elixir in Black, Dried Herb and Southern Moss. Nubuck is leather sanded on the grain, so it looks matte and feels soft, closer to a short nap than to a shiny full-grain hide, and it marks if it scrapes. Dried Herb is a dull green and Southern Moss a darker, yellower green beside the black. The 2023 shoe also uses GORE-TEX, the membrane laminate associated with keeping rain out while moisture vapour can leave. It is made for men.
