About this product
The Old Skool pairs a black and blue colourway with a suede upper, whose soft, napped surface gives the material a textured appearance. Paul Van Doren designed the original silhouette, and this SpongeBob SquarePants Smile Patch version was released in 2021. Made for men, it brings the character reference into a familiar Vans style without changing the simple colour palette. The name links the shoe to SpongeBob SquarePants through its smile patch theme, while the contrast between black and blue gives the overall look a clear two-colour feel.
