About this product
Leather is the upper on the Vans Old Skool, a smooth, fairly dense material that holds a cleaner surface than most cloth. The shoe is black. Laces close it, the lining is leather too, and the sole is abrasion-proof rubber. It is windproof and waterproof. With black as the only colour, the leather upper reads as one dark tone. The leather lining is the same family of material inside, rather than a textile. Abrasion-proof rubber is the sole compound, named for resisting wear on that part. Windproof and waterproof both apply to this Old Skool, and black does not share the combination with a second shade.
