The October releases worth putting a date against
· · By Redacción HYPEIBIZA
Our calendar holds around fifty dated footwear releases for October. Most are routine restocks and performance drops. These are the ones where the date actually matters. We also say what to do on the far more likely day that you miss it.
Release dates here come from how the marketplaces list them, the same source the release calendar uses, and they move. Treat everything below as the current plan rather than a promise, and check the product page before you build an evening around it. A date that slips by a week is completely normal and is not news.
The first of the month carries most of the weight
On 20 September 2026, an Air Max 95 Greedy returns. An Air Force 1 arrives in Ghostface make-up, in good time for the end of the month. A SoleFly Jordan 5 was listed for the same day. From adidas comes a Bad Bunny Gazelle Indoor in solar gold, and New Balance brings two Made in UK 991v2 colourways. That is five things worth attention on one date. In practice, choose one and let the others reach the shops we check.

Then the month thins out
On 20 September 2026, the rest of October is quieter and much easier to plan around. Two Jordan retros come early in the month and a pearlised Vans Old Skool in the second week. The steady run of performance releases rarely sells out on the day. In those weeks last month's releases usually reach more than one shop. That is when comparing pays: a shoe at one retailer on launch day is often at five a fortnight later.

View productGeneral release or limited, and why it decides everything
Before a release, work out which of two kinds it is. Most Air Max, most Air Force 1 and performance running are general releases. Several of our shops will have one within a fortnight, often below launch price once more than two do. Don't chase it on the day. A collaboration or numbered retro has one or two European stockists and sells fast. After that only resale remains, which we show no price for.
What the calendar is actually good for
A release calendar is usually read as a list of things to buy. Read it backwards, as a list of things about to become easy to buy. Within weeks, each dated release has offers from several shops, a spread between them and a size run that thins from the edges. What landed last month tells you what to compare this month. Our calendar pages keep that history instead of dropping a release the day after.
It is also the honest answer to a page with nothing on it. A product that has not been released yet has no shop price. We would rather show you the date and say plainly that nobody stocks it than make up a number to fill the space. The same page starts filling with real offers the moment a shop we check lists it.
If you miss the date
- A general release is usually at several of our shops within a fortnight. It is often below the launch price once more than two of them have it.
- A limited pair is a different story, and a sold-out page here will say so honestly rather than pretending stock exists.
- Set a restock alert on the product page instead of refreshing it. We check every shop daily and can tell you the day something comes back.
- Watch the size, not just the shoe. A release that returns in a full size run is worth more to you than one that returns in a 46 you do not wear.
Each page shows whether any shop we check has it yet, and keeps showing that as the date passes.
